What is Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?

PRP for hair loss is where a patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp. This is a simple, non-surgical procedure which can stimulate hair growth and provide fuller and healthier looking hair for those with moderate hair loss.

How does the Treatment Work?

White blood cells and platelets rich in growth factors are present in the plasma that is separated after centrifuging the blood during the treatment. Growth factors have the potential to stimulate hair follicle activity and encourage the creation of new hair.
