Injectable Brow Lift: Wrinkle injections are by far the most well-known and popular non-surgical, injectable treatments for unwanted laughter and expression lines. They can address a number of concerns, such as crow’s feet, Glabellar lines, forehead lines and can even smooth a ‘cobbled’ chin. Here at Dr Sobia Medispa in Clitheroe, Lancashire, Dr Sobia Syed treats hundreds of patients every year and is seeing more and more patients requesting the Injectable Brow Lift as an effective solution to a tired and ageing appearance.
An Injectable Brow Lift treats the frown lines (Glabellar lines) between your brows and also elevates the height of your eyebrows using wrinkle therapy; this is available only via a prescription.
Treating these areas will allow the forehead muscles to pull up the eyebrows and take weight away from the upper eyelids. This means that if you suffer from heavy upper lids and look ‘permanently’ tired, an Injectable Brow Lift might be just the treatment you need to refresh your look for months on end.
Injectable Brow Lift: the treatment process
Before any non-surgical treatment can commence here at Dr Sobia Medispa, you will need to attend a no-obligation, preliminary consultation with Dr Sobia.
In any professionally run, medical-aesthetic clinic, this is a must as it gives the doctor the opportunity to speak with you at length about the treatment, any aftercare and expected results. She will also be able to assess your facial anatomy and check your medical history to ensure you are fit and well to have this procedure.
If you are both happy to go ahead, the treatment is very straightforward and can be undertaken after a consent form is completed by you in the clinic. Dr Sobia will clean and sterilise the area to be treated and inject tiny doses of the substance into these areas. There is no need for prior anaesthetic as the needles used for your injections are minuscule and offer very little discomfort. Wrinkle injections are made superficially, and the treatment should not take more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
As with all injectable procedures, there will be aftercare to adhere to. You will be advised that for around 6 hours after your treatment, it’s best not to bend forward or lie face down, as the product needs time to settle in and can migrate to unwanted areas, causing potential eyelid dropping. This can be avoided by adhering to Dr Sobia’s advice and not rubbing the skin or undergoing strenuous exercise for at least 6 hours afterwards.
Results and longevity
Results can be seen within 2 to 4 days and optimum results can be seen after around 2 weeks. At this point, you will be invited back to the clinic for a check-up and ‘top-up’ if required. This ensures a superb result every time!
How long wrinkle injections will last in your system does vary from patient to patient. You might be one of the lucky ones for whom results can last anything up to 8 months! However, more realistically is that you’ll start to get a ‘niggle’ for another treatment at around 4 to 6 months after your treatment.
First-time wrinkle-relaxing patients tend to find that their results last longer than someone who has been having it for years. Whether this is a gradual immunity over the years to the product, or that the patient has simply gotten older and notices more lines coming back after a few months, is debatable.
All of your questions will be answered in your initial consultation with Dr Sobia and as she is a highly skilled medical practitioner, she will know where to inject for the most stunning, long-lasting results.
